Hey fellow Gallbladder Warrior! I’m Olivia and I’m so happy you’re here taking initiative on your health. I’m a functional gallbladder nutritionist, and my passion for this career is because I’ve struggled with gallbladder disease, too.

I hear the frustration and confusion around trying to manage gallbladder disease. And although I’m still fighting to keep my gallbladder, more than 80% of my clients are post-op without a gallbladder.

I live in your shoes daily. And I’m so passionate about helping people like you after their gallbladder removal surgery. I created my nutrition business Gallbladder Diet because I want you to feel better supported, heard, educated, and most importantly…feel like your best self.  

I created this program with your goals and intentions in mind.

Mia is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP NNCP) and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P), specializing in IBS and Gut Health.

Using a practical, investigative, root-cause approach, Mia helps folks struggling with chronic digestive concerns like bloating, IBS, GERD, SIBO, IBS, IBD, acid reflux, nausea, and more, alongside adjacent concerns like hormonal imbalances, PMS, painful periods, and skin issues*.

She supports clients in achieving their health goals through a highly bio-individualized approach to nutrition and lifestyle, as well as leaning on tools like conventional and functional lab work.

Functional health & wellness was what helped Mia heal from 15+ years of chronic digestive issues and hormonal imbalances. Now, she’s lucky to support folks going through similar experiences, where she’s able to marry her formal education with her personal experience, lending empathy and understanding to better support her clients’ outcomes, bringing an additional layer of care to her work.

My name is Kara Shepherd and I have been a behavior coach for the past eight years working with individuals from all over the U.S. to gain the skills to build better habits and gain healthier lives physically and mentally!

My personal journey includes being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease 17 years ago and navigating life with a chronic illness. In addition, I had my gallbladder removed 12 years ago and resection surgery of my small intestine 4 years ago.

I understand the trials of having digestive issues and other medical needs and most importantly, how vital a strong mindset can be for moving through it.
